Signing up is quick and easy. It only takes a few seconds to create your account, or you can make one through Facebook. As soon as your account is made, you are immediately welcomed with an inbox message, along with a good number of lovely ladies’ profiles. The site doesn't have too many ads, other than the ones asking you to purchase credits, which are everywhere and in your face at every click. Still, the site is very inviting, and easy to navigate around. Everything you could possibly want to know about is listed along the left side of each page, including information about International Romance Tours (traveling to foreign countries to potentially meet a mate), Virtual Gifts, ‘Video Dates’, and more.

 

    The search features were rather surprising on Anastasiadate. Not only could I search by my age (meaning, does the lady I'm searching for want to date someone my age?) but also her age, country of residence, smoking habits/other habits, height range, weight range, whether or not she has kids, her English proficiency, hair color, her birthday, her Video Date status (available or not), and more. There were plenty of profile results, regardless of the way we searched. There is a live feed with members constantly along the right side of the screen that shows who is available right now for chat or a video call.  We had no problem finding members to speak with, although for the most part the communication was slow, likely because of some of the translation required. All of our emails received a response within a week, and most in under 48 hours.

 

How Much Is It?

 

    The cost of actually contacting members on AnastasiaDate is a bit different than most dating sites, for several reasons. To begin with, all of the female members' emails are monitored by staff, to “maintain the legitimacy and reputation” of the site. As well, alot of the written correspondence requires some translation, and AnastasiaDate includes this in their pricing plans. They also operate on a credit system. 10 credits will let you either send or recieve a letter. Each minute of online chat costs one credit, and video chat costs two credits per minute. You can earn free credits by referring friends as well as by performing certain account functions, such as booking a free tour (1000 credits), completing your profile (5 credits) or viewing a profile video of one of the female members (1 credit). There’s also a button right below the payment system for you to set up automatic billing (a common practice throughout online dating sites). Basically what you do is, remove the checkmark if you DON’T want your credit card automatically billed again for the same number of credits when you’re “running low”. AnastasiaDate accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, PayPal and Skrill.

 

 

The Fine Print

 

Keep in mind that as soon as you click “Sign Up” or “Find My Matches”, you’re legally bound to the fine print listed on AnastasiaDate, even if you decide you’d rather sign up elsewhere instead – a feature I’ve yet to find on any other dating site. Some other items to note are as follows:

 

• If or when you want to terminate service, you must to give notice in writing

• Credits that go unused for 365 days, expire

• Female members aren’t allowed to have their photo, email or profile on any other, competing services’ database or website

• Any content that you post to AnastasiaDate becomes the property of AnastasiaDate, so they can use it in marketing materials, promotional content, and whatever else they’d like, forever (unfortunately this is a normal clause at most dating sites)

• Sharing URLs, email addresses, physical addresses or phone numbers with other members is strictly forbidden

• If the female member that you’re speaking with is found on an anti-scam site (she’s not a real person), you may get a refund of the credits you used to interact with her

• AnastasiaDate will not sell, lend or rent out your email address, but they will send you daily emails about the service. You can easily opt out by sending a message to unsubscribe@anastasiadate.com or follow the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each email received.

 

Is It Worth It?

 

AnastasiaDate has it's ups and downs, but overall is easy to use and understand. The female members are real and gorgeous, and the site's staff are always on top of the fake and scam profiles. Although some of the terms and conditions are a bit restrictive, it's nothing that ruins your experience with the site or the members.
